Never overlook line errors ever again!
FSF Mobile Conductor

Have you ever experienced the following while working an SMT line?

· Late response to errors on the line because no one noticed it
· Part supply was delayed because no one noticed the parts out warning
· Everyone was busy with other tasks when the alert was issued, and thus were unable to immediately respond.

SMT lines consist of many different types of machines, and operators need to be able to operate and respond to all errors on all types of machines when they occur. Depending on the product being produced, the line length may exceed 20 m. Operators move in front of this long line while supplying parts, performing changeover, and responding to short stops. Sometimes there are multiple lines being overseen by only a few people. Because of this, they may overlook an alert, or there may be multiple tasks that need to be performed at once, causing them to miss alerts when they happen. This results in delayed response, causing the line to stop.

FSF Mobile Conductor

FSF Mobile Conductor is a support tool for operators, that lets them know when an error or warning has occurred at a machine within the SMT line by sending a notification to their mobile devices, so that they can respond quickly even by using remote operation.

FSF Mobile Conductor features

1. Reduces down time by enabling operators to take immediate action

2. Messages are shared further using the escalation function

3. Provide rapid support through remote operation

1. Reduces down time by enabling operators to take immediate action

For lines that are prone to late responses due to alerts being missed while performing other tasks, error notifications and warnings are sent to mobile devices so that operators can take notice of them when they occur, no matter what they are doing, and are able to respond accordingly.

Notifications for machines in the line that are not Fuji machines can also be sent. For example, notifications are sent to mobile devices when there is a failed result at an inspection machine or panel conveyance errors that often happen immediately after production is started occur, to prompt for immediate action.

Note: It is necessary to develop a link function for receiving alerts from machines that are not a Fuji machine.

2. Messages are shared further using the escalation function

If the operator who receives notification about an error that has occurred is unable to immediately respond, the notification is then forwarded to the mobile device of a designated manager, so that the issue can be followed up on in a timely manner.
This function is also useful when the operator does not know how to handle the issue.

Escalate after receiving the alert

3. Provide rapid support through remote operation

When operators receive a notification, they can immediately perform operation remotely on the spot.
This helps reduce work time and machine stop time.
